What are the Conventional Materials of Waterproof Connectors ?

There are plastic material and metal material of waterproof connectors.

I: plastic material:

1. Ordinary plastic: PBT, NYLON66, SPS, PVC, PE.
2. High temperature plastic: LCP, NYLON 6T, PPS.PA66 + GF

II: Metal Material:

1. Copper:

(1) brass (also known as bronze) :Good conductivity, low prices, commonly use C2680.

(2) Phosphor Bronze:Less conductivity, the price is slightly higher, commonly use C5191, C5210.

(3) beryllium copper (Be Cu):High flexibility, high price,commonly use C1720.

2. iron material:

(1) cold rolled steel SPCC (or SPCE)

(2) stainless steel:

SUS301, non-magnetic, but magnetic after cold working;

SUS304 ,non-magnetic

3. Other alloys: zinc alloy
